     Load and Fold ran a test marketing campaign in the Northern New Jersey area, focusing on Fort Lee, Cliffside Park and surrounding areas. The service was run with out physical laundromat by parterning with a laundromat and dry cleaner to run the wash and fold. Load and Fold picked up and delivered to each customer and provided a phone number and website.

     The service was run from Feb - July 2009. A $4000 ad budget was used that included google ad words, super coupons and 4 post card mailers to high rises in Fort Lee.

     By July 09 2000 pounds of wash and fold was done for the previous month of June and $1,000 is dry cleaning. There were 20 regular customers who ordered at least twice a month with about 3 new customers per week. Approximatly 60% of users ordered more than once.

Frequently Asked Questions:
      Some user's wanted to know an address for a pysical presence (location of clothes). We did not have this and did not get all customers who were interested. By owning a laundromat / drycleaner this is not a problem.

Interesting Facts:
Popular among older people unable to leave the home or other medical conditions.
Most customers become repeat clients.
One large order came from the Sheratin Hotel in the Meadowlands who found the service online.
One gymnasium ordered to take care of all towels.
High referral rates from regular customers to friends.
